Halloween

Niedaleko naszego domu jest sklep, ktory jest otwarty na miesiac przed halloween i jest tam cale mnostwo wszelkich strojow i gadzetow o tematyce halloween. Mozna sie przestraszyc, wchodzac juz do tego sklepu, bo oczywiscie sceneria jest duchowa i przerazajaca. W dzien halloween, sklep byl oblegany, pewnie wiekszosc tak jak my czekala az do ostatniej chwili na zakup strojow. Razem z Majkiem dokonalismy wyborow. Ja zostalam czarownica, natomiast Majk slynnym w Ameryce wujkiem Samem. Zalozylismy nasze stroje i w cudownych humorach pojechalismy do Greenville. Greenville to miasteczko studenckie, poniewaz znajduje sie tam Uniwersytet Wschodniej Karoliny, bardzo znany i dobry w tej okolicy. Ulice tej nocy chyba wszedzie byly zapelnione przebranymi ludzmi w doborowych humorach. My te noc spedzilismy w kilku klubach na ulicy, przypominajacej cos w rodzaju „Mazowieckiej” w Warszawie. Bawilismy sie wysmienicie, alkoholu tez nie wylewalismy. W jednym z klubow typu „harlem” po kilku moich ulubionych tu drinkach Long Island bawilam sie tak dobrze jak na polskiej biesiadzie, co uwiecznil na filmie moj Majk  Podsumowujac moje pierwsze halloween w Ameryce musze napisac „przezyj to sam”. Mimo, ze w Polsce pojawia sie to „nietolerowane” przez kler swieto, sa rozne imprezy halloween, na ktorych bywalam i doswiadczalam, to nie jest to samo, co w Stanach, gdzie ludzie, wszyscy ludzie, mlodzi, starzy, dzieci traktuja to niemalze jak swieto narodowe, wlacznie z tym, ze niektorzy zamawiaja stroje na halloween miesiace wczesniej. Domy z tej okazji sa dekorowane, wszedzie mnostwo dyn, juz w ciagu dnia mozna zobaczyc ludzi z spejalnym makijazem na halloween, nie wspominajac juz o przebranych dzieciach, ktore biegaja po ulicach od domu do domu zbierajac cukierki. Wracajc do naszego halloween w Greenville, zabawa byla wysmienita, duzo smiechu, wrocilismy do domu, a na drugi dzien kac morderca, jakiego dlugo juz nie pamietalam i tak zwana pozycja smierc az do wieczora 

                                                                                                                                                                  

Close to our house there is a store, which is open only one month before Halloween, and there is bunch of different outfits for Halloween. You can get really scared while entering to this store, because the scenery of the store is scary and spiritual. This store on Halloween day was so crowded. Probably most of people, same as we were waiting to buy an outfit for the last moment. Mike and I made choices. I was a witch and Mike was a famous in America uncle Sam. We dressed up and in excellent moods we went to Greenville. Greenville is a student town, because there is an East Carolina University, which is very famous and good in this area. Streets on this night were full of dressed and happy people. We spent this night in a few clubs, which are similar to Mazowiecka street in Warsaw. We were having so much fun and we did not waste an alcohol :D I was having so much fun, as on a Polish feast, after a few my favorite drinks called Long Island in club in Harlem style, what Mike captured on a video :D Summarizing my first Halloween in America I have to write, you need to experience that on your own. I was on different Polish, Halloween events, which are more common now, despite the fact that this kind of holiday is not tolerated by Catholic church, but for sure it is not the same as Halloween in the US. All people in the US, old, young, children treat Halloween almost like a national holiday, including fact that some of the people order their outfits months before Halloween. Houses are decorated, everywhere is lot of pumpkins, on Halloween day people walk with painted faces and children run on the streets and collect sweets. Our Halloween in Greenville was great! Lot of fun and laugh! We came back home and next day we were experiencing horrible hangover, which I do not remembered for a long time :D
