Test byl na komputerze i skladal sie z 40 pytan. Nie bylo zadnych ograniczen czasowych, moglam sobie tam siedziec ile mi sie podoba, ale zajelo mi to jakies 20 minut. Po tescie z papierkiem, ze egzamin zaliczony pozytywnie udalam sie do sadu w Marshall gdzie zlozylam wniosek o wydanie prawa jazdy dla stanu Minnesota. Elementem wydania prawa jazdy jest badanie wzroku, polegajace na tym, ze trzeba przylozyc oczy do maszyny, na ktorej trzeba odczytac litery i cyfry z pewnej odleglosci i tu poleglam... Przede wszystkim widze daleko! :D Nic nie czuje, ze mam cokolwiek na oczach, ale jak na razie najgorszy etap dla mnie to zakladanie szkla na lewe oko... Nie wprawilam sie jeszcze wystarczajaco i mam problemy z zalozeniem tego szkla...Nie chce jednak sie poddawac, poniewaz szkla naprawde w moim przypadku dzialaja! Nic mnie nie swedzi, nie piecze, nic nie jest czerwone, w ogole tak jakbym niczego tam nie miala... Szkla sa tak male, tak miekkie i delikatne, ze po prostu rewelacja! Polecam goraco wszystkim tym, ktorzy nie cierpia nosic okularow. Moja wada w przypadku obydwu oczu to -1. Nie ma tragedii, ale jedna jakis dyskomfort jest... Moze to dlatego, ze pije czerwone wino, ktore zabija wiele bakterii w jamie ustnej? :D Higienistka w Smile Desingers wyczyscila mi moje zeby, przy okazji zapisala mnie na nastepne czyszczenie w kwietniu przyszlego roku i oznajmila mi, ze teraz ona juz skonczyla zabiegi na moich zebach, a teraz przyjdzie dentysta. Ja wlasnie doznalam szoku, bo ona zachowywala sie tak profesjonalnie, ze ja myslalam, ze to jest wlasnie ta dentystka :D Przyszedl doktor Michael Thomas dentysta, ktory na duzym monitorze ze zdjeciem z rentgena, a potem juz w buzi przeanalizowal ze mna stan mojej jamy ustnej i potwierdzil, ze wszystko jest super! Kiedys mialam jeden zab leczony kanalowo i doktor Thomas powiedzial mi, ze zwykle zeby leczone kanalowe sa slabe, moga sie ukruszyc, zlamac, wiec zaproponowal mi zalozenie koronki, ktora oczywsicie nie jest zlota, czy srebrna, ale jest w naturalnym kolorze zeba... Cena takiej koronki to $1129 bez ubezpieczenia... Plomba bez ubezpieczenia kosztuje $235 w tej kilince, w ktorej ja bylam... Podsumowujac moje oczy i zeby zostaly bardzo dobrze sprawdzone, zaopiekowano sie nimi rewelacyjnie i na jakis czas mam tzw. swiety spokoj! :)

O tym, ze w miescie Marshall w stanie Minnesota jest druga rodowita Polka dowiedzialam sie od mojego instruktora jogi, ktory powiedzial mi, ze na ostatnie zajeciach w niedziele (ja chodze na joge w poniedzialki i srody rano) przyszla dziewczyna o imieniu "Dzaga" :D jest ona Polka, a jej maz Amerykaninem i ma na imie Michael oraz, ze po rozmowie z nim, Leo moim instruktorem "Dzaga" jest bardzo zainteresowana poznaniem mnie... Leo powiedzial mi, ze Jagoda ma zamiar przyjsc w poniedzialek, albo w srode rano, zeby mnie poznac i tak rzeczywiscie sie stalo... Poznalysmy sie w jedna z pazdziernikowych srod rano, nastepnie przyszlysmy do mnie do domu na kawe i tak gadalysmy i gadalysmy i nagdac sie nie moglysmy... Jagoda i jej maz Micheal poznali sie prawie 6 lat temu w stanie Virginia na programie pomocy osobom niepelnosprawnym. Jagoda mieszkala wtedy w Stanach przez 1,5 roku, a kiedy przyszedl czas wyjazdu jej ukochany postanowil jechac za nia i tym sposobem spedzili 4 lata w Polsce, gdzie z reszta wzieli slub... Kilka miesiecy temu Jagoda i jej maz wrocili do Stanow, poniewaz jej maz tak samo jak moj maz pracuje dla miasta Marshall i tutaj teraz maja zamiar ukladac sobie reszte zycia, wlasnie szukaja odpowiedniego domu dla nich... Generalnie super! Jagoda jest przemila, konkretna i milo nam sie razem spedza czas! Po jodze chodzimy teraz razem na kawe i sniadanie...:) Okazalo sie tez, ze ja i moj maz jestesmy w miescie dosc popularni, poniewaz kiedy Jagoda udala sie zrobic background check do nowej pracy do jednego z urzedow policjant powiedzial do niej "a to ty jestes ta Polka, zona nowego inspektora budowlanego" na co Jagoda odpowiedziala, ze nie nie jestem, ale ja juz tez slyszalam o tej Polce i tez bardzo chcialabym ja poznac:) Okazalo sie, ze nasi mezowie uwielbiaja grac na x boksie i oprocz takich samych imion, zon Polek maja jeszcze kilka innych wspolnych rzeczy. i zainteresowan..:) Ostatnio Jagoda z mezem byli u nas na obiedzie, ktory zamienil sie w impreze z tancami:) Fajni ludzie nas tu otaczaja!
Na poczatku pazdziernika za namowa naszych sasiadow poszlismy z nimi do kosciola, do ktorego oni chodza... Kosciol ten nazywa sie EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH, czyli Wolny Kosciol Ewangelicki, strasznie mi sie ta nazwa podoba, po prostu FREE CHURCH...:) Nie tylko nazwa jest fajna, jak to bywa w amerykanskich protestanckich kosciolach cala wspolnota tego kosciola jest swietna! Wszyscy bardzo zintegrowani, mili, usmiechnieci, w kosciele jest przytulnie, pastor smieszny, konkretny i bardzo madry... Kazania z prezentacjami multimedialnymi, fajny chor i zespol, ludzie w lawkach popijaja kawke...komunia pod dwoma postaciami rozdawana jest w lawkach na siedzaco, nie trzeba nawet wstawac... Chyba juz zostaniemy w tym kosciele... W ogole okazalo sie, ze ten kosciol w chwili obecnej jest rozbudowywany i moj maz odwiedza go przynajmniej trzy razy w tygodniu w ramach pracy jako inspektor budowlany... Kiedys chodzilam do kosciola metodystycznego, ale w sumie stwierdzilam, ze to nie ma znaczenia do jakiego kosciola sie chodzi, powinno sie chodzic do takiego, ktory z roznych wzgledow najbardziej nam odpowiada, bo Pan Bog i tak jest jeden, niezaleznie w jakiej formie i gdzie sie do niego modlimy... W Marshall jest mnostwo kosciolow! Strasznie duzo by to zajelo chodzic po wszystkich i decydowac ktory jest najlepszy... Kolo domu mamy kosciol luteranski, bylismy tam, ale tak srednio nam podpasowal...
I to na dzis byloby tyle nowosci...ktorymi moge i chce sie z Wami podzielic:)

I went to exchange my driver's license on Monday, October 3rd, because every state has another pattern of it and sometimes other rules of applying for driver's license and sometimes different traffic rules. So after moving from Georgia to Minnesota I had to pass a written test, and then with positive result I had to go to the courthouse to apply for driver's licence. You have to wait about four weeks until your driver's license will come in the mail. My husband made me a little bit stressed, because he went first for exam and he said that he barely passed, because there was many questions related to atmospheric conditions such as winter in North of the US, and my husband does not have knowledge and snow experience, because most of his life he spent in Southern States where winters are without snow. I thought that if my husband, who has a science brain, is complaining, so what about me if I am getting stressed about every possible test in my life...? :D Of course it was not that bad. I passed at first time. Test was on a computer and it consisted of 40 questions. There was no time limit, so I basically could sit there how long I wanted to. It took me about 20 minutes. I went with a piece of paper which was saying that I passed written exam to court house in Marshall to apply for driver's license for the state of Minnesota. One of the rule of issuing a driver's license is passing the eye examination, where you have to put your eyes on special machine and you have to read different letters and numbers from certain distance and I failed it... I forgot to take with me my glasses, and I could not see anything, because my problem is that I can not see far away... I went fast to the house and I grabbed my glasses. I came back to the court house and with my glasses I passed eye examination positively. I do not drive in the night without glasses... During the day nearly I see ok, but far away not so good, sometimes it feels like I would see through the fog... I constantly forget my glasses... I do not feel comfortable in it or they fall down from my nose or something else... I got glasses prescription about three years ago when I finally went to oculist after my professors in college started telling me that I should go there because I blink my eyes... I did as they said and then I was wearing my glasses only on classes at college. My husband was telling me for a while that I should go to oculist for check up, but there was always something more important than doing that for me... Finally on the occasion of exchanging driver's license and approaching eye examination which I failed without glasses I got triggered that ok, I need to go to the eye doctor... right after I left a court house I went to oculist and I was able to see him on the same day. A doctor checked my eyes in many different ways and he said that they look very healthy, but the think that I do not see well far away is just a a disease of civilization, disorder which is caused by lot of writing, reading, sitting in front of computer... Doctor recommended me also wearing glasses all the time to not make my vision worse and same time improve quality of my life by better seeing the world... I thought OMG I am not going to wear glasses all the time... maybe those contacts will be fine? but long time ago I heard lot of bad things about contacts for example that it is a direct contact with the eye, bacteria, germs an others... Doctor told me that it is nonsense... Now contacts have much better quality than they used to have, and observe hygiene while putting them on and taking them out it is the basic rule to not infect the eye... I decided that I will try contacts and even though I wear them for just a couple days I am extremely happy to wear them! First of all I can see! :D I do not feel that I have something on my eyes, but the worst thing for now is putting contacts on my left eye... Maybe I did not practice enough yet and I have troubles to put a contact on this eye... I do not want to give up on contacts because of that, because in my case contacts work really great! Nothing is itchy, red... Feels like there is completely nothing... Contacts are small, soft, delicate, simply great! My defect of vision is -1... There is no tragedy, but some kind of discomfort... Another thing that I took care of this month are my teeth! I have never been to dentist in the US... Last time I went to dentist about three years ago in Poland, maybe even more than that... It is not good and not healthy to take breaks like this... I hope that from now on I will be going regularly for check up of my mouth at least once a year... Last three years lot of things was happening in my life, then I came to the US where delaying of my appointment with dentist was not caused by lack of my willingness, but still something was wrong with my dental insurance, because most of the insurance companies in the US they do not offer a dental insurance in health insurance... You have to buy dental and vision insurances usually separately... First I did not have a social security number yet to apply for insurance, then my dental insurance was not accepted by dentists in area where I used to live, then we were out of state for my husband business trips and moths were going buy until finally we got a good insurance through my husband current job which is called DELTA DENTAL. I was finally able to make an appointment on October 6th at Smile Designers clinic. Our neighbor recommended it to us. He said that they are best in town. A hygienist who I thought was a dentist first took care of me at clinic. She did me an x-ray of my mouth and it turned that I have one wisdom tooth in top right corner, but it does not cause me any pain, it does not bother me so they recommended to just leave it alone for now. A hygienist looked at all of my teeth, she checked gums and she told me that even though I was not at dentist for a long time it looks like I have very healthy and strong teeth, nothing wrong is going with them. I remember when a dentist in Poland told me the same that I have very strong and healthy teeth. Maybe I have healthy teeth because I drink red wine which kills a lot of bacteria in my mouth? :D A hygienist st Smile Designers cleaned my teeth, she scheduled another teeth cleaning for April next year and after she was done with all operations on my teeth she told me that now dentist will come. I was shocked because she was behaving so professionally and I thought that she is a dentist :D Doctor Micheal Thomas came and he analyzed with me on big screen and then also in my mouth a condition of my teeth. He confirmed that everything is great! Long time ago I had a tooth root canal and doctor Thomas told me that canal teeth are usually weak so he would recommend to do a crown on this tooth, so it will not break... Crown is not gold or silver of course. It is in natural color of tooth. The cost of crown without insurance is $1129... A filling without insurance cost $225 in clinic mentioned above... Summarizing, my eyes and teeth were checked well and people took good care of them! I hope that I will have peace for a long time! :)
Now I will write a few words about my new friends Jagoda who comes from a Polish Slask... I found out that in Marshall, MN there is another fully Polish from my yoga instructor. He told me that on his last class on Sunday (I go for yoga on Monday and Wednesdays morning) there was a Polish girl and her name is "JAGA" :D She is Polish, her husband is American, his name is Michael and after conversation with Leo, my instructor "Jaga" is anxious to meet me... Leo told me that Jagoda is going to come on Monday or Wednesday morning to meet me and it actually happened... We met on one October Wednesday morning, we came to my house for coffee and we were talking and talking and talking... Jagoda and her husband Michael met each other almost 6 years ago in Virginia when they were there on program with help for disabled people. Jagoda was living by then in States for 1.5 years, but when her leaving time came, her beloved decide to go for her to Poland... They lived together in Poland for four years and they got married there. A few months ago Jagoda and her husband came back to the US, because her husband same as mine works for the city of Marshall. They are going to settle their life here, and currently they are looking for perfect house to buy for them... This is great! Jagoda is very nice, specific and we like to spend time together! We go together for breakfast and coffee after yoga...:) It turned that my husband and I are also popular in town, because when Jagoda went to do her background check to one of the office in town a police officer asked her if she is this Polish wife of new building inspector. Jagoda said that she is not this Polish, but she heard about the other Polish girl in town already and she would also like to meet her:) Our husbands likes to play x- box and expect that they have same names, Polish wifes they also have another common things and interests..:) Last time Jagoda and her husband visited us for dinner which turned into party with dancing! :) We are surrounded by really cool people here!
At the beginning of October encouraged by our neighbors we went to EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH in Marshall. I really like this name it is just a FREE CHURCH...) Not ONLY the name is cool, as it usually happens in American protestant churches whole community is great! Everybody is very integrated and nice... Church is very cozy, pastor is funny, specific and very smart... Ceremony is being told with support of multimedia presentation... They have cool choir and band... People are drinking coffee during the worship... Communion is served in two forms while people seating on benches so you do not have to stand up... I think we are going to stay at this church... It also turned that this church is under construction and my husband visits this place at least three times a week as a building inspector... I used going to Methodist Church, but then I thought that it really does not matter which church you are going to... You should be going to church that you like and feel at the most comfortable... God is everywhere the same and the way how you pray to him does not really matter... In Marshall there is a lot of churches! It would take a long time to visit all of them and decide which one is the best... We have close to our house a Lutheran church, we went there, but we were not so impressed...

Wszyscy bardzo zintegrowani, mili, usmiechnieci, w kosciele jest przytulnie, pastor smieszny, konkretny i bardzo madry... Kazania z prezentacjami multimedialnymi, fajny chor i zespol, ludzie w lawkach popijaja kawke...komunia pod dwoma postaciami rozdawana jest w lawkach na siedzaco, nie trzeba nawet wstawac... Chyba juz zostaniemy w tym kosciele... W ogole okazalo sie, ze ten kosciol w chwili obecnej jest rozbudowywany i moj maz odwiedza go przynajmniej trzy razy w tygodniu w ramach pracy jako inspektor budowlany... Kiedys chodzilam do kosciola metodystycznego, ale w sumie stwierdzilam, ze to nie ma znaczenia do jakiego kosciola sie chodzi, powinno sie chodzic do takiego, ktory z roznych wzgledow najbardziej nam odpowiada, bo Pan Bog i tak jest jeden, niezaleznie w jakiej formie i gdzie sie do niego modlimy... W Marshall jest mnostwo kosciolow! Strasznie duzo by to zajelo chodzic po wszystkich i decydowac ktory jest najlepszy... Kolo domu mamy kosciol luteranski, bylismy tam, ale tak srednio nam podpasowal...
I to na dzis byloby tyle nowosci...ktorymi moge i chce sie z Wami podzielic:)

Hi!
I went to exchange my driver's license on Monday, October 3rd, because every state has another pattern of it and sometimes other rules of applying for driver's license and sometimes different traffic rules. So after moving from Georgia to Minnesota I had to pass a written test, and then with positive result I had to go to the courthouse to apply for driver's licence. You have to wait about four weeks until your driver's license will come in the mail. My husband made me a little bit stressed, because he went first for exam and he said that he barely passed, because there was many questions related to atmospheric conditions such as winter in North of the US, and my husband does not have knowledge and snow experience, because most of his life he spent in Southern States where winters are without snow. I thought that if my husband, who has a science brain, is complaining, so what about me if I am getting stressed about every possible test in my life...? :D Of course it was not that bad. I passed at first time. Test was on a computer and it consisted of 40 questions. There was no time limit, so I basically could sit there how long I wanted to. It took me about 20 minutes. I went with a piece of paper which was saying that I passed written exam to court house in Marshall to apply for driver's license for the state of Minnesota. One of the rule of issuing a driver's license is passing the eye examination, where you have to put your eyes on special machine and you have to read different letters and numbers from certain distance and I failed it... I forgot to take with me my glasses, and I could not see anything, because my problem is that I can not see far away... I went fast to the house and I grabbed my glasses. I came back to the court house and with my glasses I passed eye examination positively. I do not drive in the night without glasses... During the day nearly I see ok, but far away not so good, sometimes it feels like I would see through the fog... I constantly forget my glasses... I do not feel comfortable in it or they fall down from my nose or something else... I got glasses prescription about three years ago when I finally went to oculist after my professors in college started telling me that I should go there because I blink my eyes... I did as they said and then I was wearing my glasses only on classes at college. My husband was telling me for a while that I should go to oculist for check up, but there was always something more important than doing that for me... Finally on the occasion of exchanging driver's license and approaching eye examination which I failed without glasses I got triggered that ok, I need to go to the eye doctor... right after I left a court house I went to oculist and I was able to see him on the same day. A doctor checked my eyes in many different ways and he said that they look very healthy, but the think that I do not see well far away is just a a disease of civilization, disorder which is caused by lot of writing, reading, sitting in front of computer... Doctor recommended me also wearing glasses all the time to not make my vision worse and same time improve quality of my life by better seeing the world... I thought OMG I am not going to wear glasses all the time... maybe those contacts will be fine? but long time ago I heard lot of bad things about contacts for example that it is a direct contact with the eye, bacteria, germs an others... Doctor told me that it is nonsense... Now contacts have much better quality than they used to have, and observe hygiene while putting them on and taking them out it is the basic rule to not infect the eye... I decided that I will try contacts and even though I wear them for just a couple days I am extremely happy to wear them! First of all I can see! :D I do not feel that I have something on my eyes, but the worst thing for now is putting contacts on my left eye... Maybe I did not practice enough yet and I have troubles to put a contact on this eye... I do not want to give up on contacts because of that, because in my case contacts work really great! Nothing is itchy, red... Feels like there is completely nothing... Contacts are small, soft, delicate, simply great! My defect of vision is -1... There is no tragedy, but some kind of discomfort... Another thing that I took care of this month are my teeth! I have never been to dentist in the US... Last time I went to dentist about three years ago in Poland, maybe even more than that... It is not good and not healthy to take breaks like this... I hope that from now on I will be going regularly for check up of my mouth at least once a year... Last three years lot of things was happening in my life, then I came to the US where delaying of my appointment with dentist was not caused by lack of my willingness, but still something was wrong with my dental insurance, because most of the insurance companies in the US they do not offer a dental insurance in health insurance... You have to buy dental and vision insurances usually separately... First I did not have a social security number yet to apply for insurance, then my dental insurance was not accepted by dentists in area where I used to live, then we were out of state for my husband business trips and moths were going buy until finally we got a good insurance through my husband current job which is called DELTA DENTAL. I was finally able to make an appointment on October 6th at Smile Designers clinic. Our neighbor recommended it to us. He said that they are best in town. A hygienist who I thought was a dentist first took care of me at clinic. She did me an x-ray of my mouth and it turned that I have one wisdom tooth in top right corner, but it does not cause me any pain, it does not bother me so they recommended to just leave it alone for now. A hygienist looked at all of my teeth, she checked gums and she told me that even though I was not at dentist for a long time it looks like I have very healthy and strong teeth, nothing wrong is going with them. I remember when a dentist in Poland told me the same that I have very strong and healthy teeth. Maybe I have healthy teeth because I drink red wine which kills a lot of bacteria in my mouth? :D A hygienist st Smile Designers cleaned my teeth, she scheduled another teeth cleaning for April next year and after she was done with all operations on my teeth she told me that now dentist will come. I was shocked because she was behaving so professionally and I thought that she is a dentist :D Doctor Micheal Thomas came and he analyzed with me on big screen and then also in my mouth a condition of my teeth. He confirmed that everything is great! Long time ago I had a tooth root canal and doctor Thomas told me that canal teeth are usually weak so he would recommend to do a crown on this tooth, so it will not break... Crown is not gold or silver of course. It is in natural color of tooth. The cost of crown without insurance is $1129... A filling without insurance cost $225 in clinic mentioned above... Summarizing, my eyes and teeth were checked well and people took good care of them! I hope that I will have peace for a long time! :)
Now I will write a few words about my new friends Jagoda who comes from a Polish Slask... I found out that in Marshall, MN there is another fully Polish from my yoga instructor. He told me that on his last class on Sunday (I go for yoga on Monday and Wednesdays morning) there was a Polish girl and her name is "JAGA" :D She is Polish, her husband is American, his name is Michael and after conversation with Leo, my instructor "Jaga" is anxious to meet me... Leo told me that Jagoda is going to come on Monday or Wednesday morning to meet me and it actually happened... We met on one October Wednesday morning, we came to my house for coffee and we were talking and talking and talking... Jagoda and her husband Michael met each other almost 6 years ago in Virginia when they were there on program with help for disabled people. Jagoda was living by then in States for 1.5 years, but when her leaving time came, her beloved decide to go for her to Poland... They lived together in Poland for four years and they got married there. A few months ago Jagoda and her husband came back to the US, because her husband same as mine works for the city of Marshall. They are going to settle their life here, and currently they are looking for perfect house to buy for them... This is great! Jagoda is very nice, specific and we like to spend time together! We go together for breakfast and coffee after yoga...:) It turned that my husband and I are also popular in town, because when Jagoda went to do her background check to one of the office in town a police officer asked her if she is this Polish wife of new building inspector. Jagoda said that she is not this Polish, but she heard about the other Polish girl in town already and she would also like to meet her:) Our husbands likes to play x- box and expect that they have same names, Polish wifes they also have another common things and interests..:) Last time Jagoda and her husband visited us for dinner which turned into party with dancing! :) We are surrounded by really cool people here!
At the beginning of October encouraged by our neighbors we went to EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH in Marshall. I really like this name it is just a FREE CHURCH...) Not ONLY the name is cool, as it usually happens in American protestant churches whole community is great! Everybody is very integrated and nice... Church is very cozy, pastor is funny, specific and very smart... Ceremony is being told with support of multimedia presentation... They have cool choir and band... People are drinking coffee during the worship... Communion is served in two forms while people seating on benches so you do not have to stand up... I think we are going to stay at this church... It also turned that this church is under construction and my husband visits this place at least three times a week as a building inspector... I used going to Methodist Church, but then I thought that it really does not matter which church you are going to... You should be going to church that you like and feel at the most comfortable... God is everywhere the same and the way how you pray to him does not really matter... In Marshall there is a lot of churches! It would take a long time to visit all of them and decide which one is the best... We have close to our house a Lutheran church, we went there, but we were not so impressed...
