W miniona niedziele, 7 lutego odbyla sie juz 50 i najwazniejsza impreza sportowa w Stanach Zjednoczonych, bedaca nawet nieformalnym, amerykanskim swietem narodowym, czyli Super Bowl. Impreza ta odbywa sie zawsze w niedziele i jest to finalowy mecz o mistrzostwo futbolu amerykanskiego zawodowej ligii National Football League. Podobno Super Bowl to drugie swieto, zaraz po Swiecie Dziekczynienia, kiedy Amerykanie spozywaja najwiecej jedzenia. Mysle, ze jest w tym duzo prawdy. W tym roku kiedy ja i moj maz jechalismy do pubo- restauracji Beef 'O' Brady's w Bainbridge, zeby spedzic tam Super Bowlowy wieczor, ogladajac mistrzostwa po drodze mozna bylo bardzo latwo zauwazyc, ze na podworkach jest mnostwo samochodow, bo rodziny, znajomi niemalze jak na Swieto Dziekczynienia spotykaja sie, zeby wspolnie obejrzec finalowy mecz futbolu amerykanskiego. W przerwie finalu odbywa sie tzw. half time show, czyli koncert muzyczny, udzial w ktorym dla artysty jest prawdziwym wyroznieniem. W poprzednich latach w half time show wystepowaly wielkie gwiazdy formatu Michaela Jacksona. W tym roku half time show byl naprawde imponujacy! Bylam pod ogromnym wrazeniem! Chyba najlepszy moment calego finalu :D Na ogromnej i niesamowitej scenie z przeroznymi efektami specjalnymi wystapili: Beyonce, Coldplay i Bruno Mars. Super Bowl przyciaga milionoy widzow przed telewizorami, w 2011 padl rekord, ktory wynosil 111 milionow. Jest to swietna okazja dla reklamodawcow, ktorzy sa w stanie placic gigantyczne sumy za puszczanie ich reklam w trakcie Super Bowl. Przyjelo sie rowniez, ze podczas Super Bowl puszczane sa te najlepsze i najbardziej kreatywne reklamy. Po raz pierwszy mecz Super Bowl odbyl sie w 1967 roku jako AFL-NFL World Championship Game, a po roku 1970, w momencie kiedy obie ligii National Football League i American Football League polaczyly sie, staly sie one mistrzostwami NFL (National Footbal League). Mistrzostwa tocza sie miedzy zwyciezca konferencji American Football Conference (AFC), a zwyciezca konferencji National Football Conference. Obecnie Super Bowl rozgrywany jest na poczatku lutego, wczesniej impreza ta odbywala sie w polowie stycznia, a potem po koniec stycznia. Walka toczy sie o Vincent Lombardi Trophy, trofeum, pochodzace od nazwiska trenera zespolu Green Bay Packers, pierwszego zespolu, ktory zdobyl mistrzostwo. Co rok rowniez najlepszy zawodnik zdobywa laur MVP (Most Valuable Player), ktory od 1990 roku nazywany jest Pete Rozelle od nazwiska wieloletniego prezesa ligii NFL. W tym roku Super Bowl rozgrywal sie miedzy druzynami Carolina Panthers i Denver Broncos. Wynik meczu to 10:24 dla Denver Broncos. Ja kibicowalam Carolina Panthers przez sentyment do Karoliny Polnocnej, nie dlatego, ze znam sie na futbollu amerykanskim, albo namietnie go ogladam, i jak sie okazalo znowu, tak jak w zeszlym roku kibicowalam zespolowi, ktory przegral :D Mecz miedzy Carolina Panthers, a Denver Broncos odbyl sie na stadionie Levi's Stadium w San Francisco Bay Area, w Santa Clara, w Kalifornii.

Last Sunday, on February 7th took place already 50th and the most important sport event in the US, which is Super Bowl, also recognized as informal national holiday. This event takes place always on Sunday and it is a final championship game of National Football League professional American football leagues. Supposedly the Super Bowl is the second American holiday right after Thanksgiving when Americans eat the most food. I think that its very true. This year when my husband and I were driving to pub/restaurant Beef 'O'Brady's in Bainbridge, G.A., to spend there a Super Bowl evening and watch the championship, we noticed on on our way lot of cars on yards, because families, friends they meet together almost like on Thanksgiving to see the final match. I could see on Facebook my US friend's Super Bowl parties. Super Bowl it is not just a sport event, it is also a cultural and entertainment event. There is a Half Time Show, which is a musician concert in half time of the final match, and this part for the artist is a great honor. Last years in Half Time Show performed the greatest stars such as Michael Jackson. This year a Half Time Show was really impressive! I was so impressed! It was probably the best part of this championship :D Beyonce, Coldplay, and Bruno Mars performed on a big, amazing stage with different special effects. Super Bowl attracts millions of viewers on TV, in 2011 fell down record, which was 111 millions of viewers. This is a great occasion for an advertiser, who often are willing to pay gigantic sums for playing the commercials during Super Bowl. It is common that during Super Bowl are played the best and the most creative commercials. First time Super Bowl took place in 1967 as a AFL-NLF World Championship Game, and after 1970, when both leagues National Football League and American Football League merged together, they became NFL (National Football League) Championship. Championship are between winner of American Football Conference (AFC) and the winner between National Football Conference (NFC). Presently Super Bowl is played at the beginning of February, when earlier this event took place in the middle of January and then at the end of January. The fight is about Vincent Lombardi Trophy. The name of this trophy comes from the last name of the coach of Green Bay Packers, which was the first team, that won a championship. Every year also the best player gains a reward MVP (Most Valuable Player), which since 1990 is called Pete Rozelle, which comes from the last name of long-term president of NFL league. This year Super Bowl was played between Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos.The score of the match was 10:24 for Denver Broncos. I was cheering for Carolina Panthers, because I have a sentiment for North Carolina, and I was not doing that because I know a lot about American football or I watch that a lot. As always it turned out that I was cheering for the team that lost :D Championship between Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos was at Levi's Stadium, at San Francisco Bay Area, at Santa Clara in California.
