LIGHTS OUT, Kiedy gasna swiatla...

Hej!

Przypomnialo mi sie, ze w miniony wtorek poszlismy z Majkiem do kina na horror, ktory niedawno wszedl do kin, a mianowice "LIGHTS OUT", polski tytul to "Kiedy gasna swiatla". Pomyslalam sobie, ze jesli ktos szuka opinii na temat filmu, to moje zdanie moze sie przydac tutaj:) Osobiscie nie jestem zwolenniczka horrorow, zadnych strasznych filmow itp. Nie lubie bac sie dla przyjemnosci... Wybralam sie jednak z Majkiem na ten film, poniewaz on uwielbia wszelkie straszne filmy i bylam mu to winna z okazji jego  urodzin oraz z takiego powodu, ze malzenstwo to sztuka kompromisu:) Szczerze musze przyznac, ze wciagnal mnie ten horror niesamowicie! Siedzialam w takim napieciu co wydarzy sie nastepnie, przezywalam takie emocje, ze az bylam w szoku ze sie tak zainteresowalam:) Super film! Swietna fabula, fantastyczna obsada! Niesamowite napiecie! Jesli mi amatorce horrorow, ktora obejrzala moze jakis horror X lat temu, albo i nie bardzo spodobal sie ten film, to jestem pewna, ze wszyscy Ci, ktorzy kochaja takie mocne kino beda tym filmem zachwyceni! Naprawde goraco polecam!

Hi!

I just reminded, that on last Tuesday we went to theater for a horror movie, LIGHTS OUT, which recently came out. I thought, that if somebody is looking for opinions about the movie, my opinion here can be helpful:) Personally I am not a big fan of horrors, and any scary movies. I do not like to be afraid for pleasure... However, I decided to go with Mike for this movie, because he loves all of the scary movies, and I owe him that for his birthday, and also cause marriage is an art of compromise:) Honestly, I have to admit that I got so involved in this horror flick! I was sitting in such a tension what will happen next, I was experiencing amazing emotions, that I was truly surprised that I got so interested:) Great movie! Awesome plot, fantastic cast! Amazing tension! If I, the amateur, who watched a horror maybe X years ago liked this movie so much, I am sure all of people, who loves cinema of strong nerves will love this movie! I highly recommend it!

Srodowy koncert w parku/Wednesday concert in the park

Czesc!

W lato, w miescie Marshall odbywaja sie letnie koncerty w jednym z kilku parkow tutaj. Jest to niesamowice fajna i kulturalna atrakcja! Jestem pod wrazeniem, ze wladze miasta bardzo dbaja o swoich mieszkancow w roznych aspektach, miedzy innymi w dziedzinie kultury. Liberty Park, w ktorym w letnie srody odbywaja sie rozne koncerty instrumentalne znajduje sie doslownie kilka metrow od naszego domu. Zabieramy nasze turystyczne krzeselka i albo wsiadamy na rower, albo idziemy rozkoszowac sie kultura wyzsza na pieszo. Byloby super gdyby wiecej miast w Ameryce i na swiecie tak dbalo o swoich mieszkancow jak robi to miasto Marshall. Czuje sie szczesciara, ze trafilam do tego miejsca w USA.

Hi!

City of Marshall in summer time holds concerts in one of the local parks. It is uncommonly great cultural attraction! I am impressed, that city government takes very good care of its inhabitants in different aspects, and also in this cultural field! Liberty Park where on Wednesdays instrumental concerts are held this location is very close to our house. We take our tourist chairs, we get on bikes, or we just walk to enjoy higher culture. It would be really awesome if more cities in America and the whole world would take as good care about inhabitants as Marshall does. I feel so lucky to be in this place in the US.

Moj maz! <3/My husband! <3

W naszej okolicy jest bardzo duzo krolikow. Jeden z naszych sasiadow ma ogrodek warzywny, ktory sciaga wlasnie te sliczne stworzenia, a nasz pies dostaje tzw. piany kiedy to widzi! Nie ma tu u nas ogrodzen, dlatego juz nie raz zdarzylo mi sie gonic Sirene, goniaca krolika, albo obce koty:)

Our new living area has a lot of rabbits. One of our neighbors has a vegetable garden, which brings a lot of this cute animals and also our dog is going crazy because of that! We do not have fences or gates, that's why I already was chasing not once Sirena, who was chasing rabbits or another cats:) 

To jest cykada. Cykada jest owadem, ktorego larwa zyje pod ziemia 17 lat, po tym okresie wydostaje sie na zewnatrz, wychodzi ze skorupy, zamieniajac sie w owada z pieknymi skrzydlami, nastepnie odlatuje w celach prokreacyjnych i umiera. Mielismy okazje zobaczyc to cudo na naszym tarasie.

This is a cicada. Cicada is an insect its larva lives under ground for 17 years. After this period of time it's getting out from the ground and shell, changing into another insect with beautiful wings, and then it fly away to procreate, and die. We had opportunity to see it on our porch.

Once a year in city of Marshall on third Thursday of July there is a CRAZY THURSDAY! Sellers from different stores in downtown put there assortment of overstock in front of the stores, and you can buy it even for 80% of the price! It is awesome! Don't you think?

Today around afternoon I went to Mike's office, and during his lunch break we went for a walk and shopping to downtown stores!
