Houston Museum of Natural Science

Po wycieczce do ZOO wybralismy sie do znajdujacego sie niedaleko Houston Museum of Natural Science. Jest to ulubione muzeum Majka, glownie ze wzgledu na interaktywne gadzety. Majk gdy tylko ma okazje udac sie do Museum of Natural Science w jakims miescie, w ktorym akurat przebywa to od razu z niej korzysta:) Dzisiejsza wyprawa do muzeum rozpoczela sie od szalonego pomyslu Majka, aby wsiasc do obrotowego urzadzenia, nie mam pojecia jak to urzadzenie sie nazywa ani w jezyku polskim, ani w jezyku angielskim, w kazdym badz razie jest to obrotowe, z dwoma siedzeniami i obraca siedzacego, zapietego w pasy czlowieka do gory nogami, niczym mikser. Ja nie lubie takich rzeczy, od razu mi sie zrobilo niedobrze jak sobie tylko o tym pomyslalam, ale Majk bardzo mnie prosil, zebym sprobowala, bo bedziemy mieli "so much fun"... Pomyslalam sobie...ehh czego sie nie robi dla milosci, jak ma go to uszczesliwic to czemu nie? Zdecydowalam sie wejsc do tego dziwactwa, bylam strasznie zestresowana, zaczelo sie to krecic, myslalam ze wypadna ze mnie wszystkie wnetrznosci, wytrzymalam tylko z 10 sekund... Majk natomiast mial mnostwo frajdy, byl zachwycony i rozesmiany:) Probowalam zalaczyc tutaj film, ale pojawil sie jakis problem w zwiazku z czym moich znajomych odsylam na facebooka:) Obejrzyjcie sobie mojego uszczesliwionego meza:) Po tym wyczynie... na szczescie cali udalismy sie obejrzec przerozne wystawy, miedzy innymi: wysatwe egipska, wystawe poswiecona Majom i Aztekom. Nastepnie obejrzelismy zwierzeta i roslinnosc Teksasu. Pozniej bylo krolestwo oceanu, mineraly, kosmos i chemia...:) Na wystawie chemicznej bardzo podobala mi sie tablica Mendelejewa, ktora zawierala prawdziwe pierwiastki, fajnie byloby, zeby w szkolach cos takiego wystepowalo:) Po atrakcjach obiad , a potem dzien zakonczylismy nad hotelowym basenem:)

Next stop after ZOO was a  Museum of Natural Science. This is Mike's favorite museum, because he loves interactive stuff. If Mike has an occasion to go visit Museum of Natural Science in a city that he actually located, he will always do it:) Today when we got to museum, Mike got the craziest idea to go in to a rotary engine. I have no idea what is the right name for this machine even in Polish. Anyway... This machine is rotational, has two seats and it rotates seated there people upside down like a mixer. I don't like stuff like this. I felt sick when I saw it, but Mike asked me to do it. He said that we will have so much fun and we will create new memories. I thought... ehh... What would I not to do for love? If it will make him happy... why not? I decided to go in to this very strange machine. It started to spin around and I thought that I will loose all of my internal organs. I was there just for 10 seconds. Mike had so much fun. He was delighted and he was laughing so hard. I was trying to load the video in here, but I had kind of problem. I invite all of my friends to facebook where you can watch this video. Look at my happy husband:) Fortunately after this crazy adventure Mike was in one piece so we could go to see different exhibitions. We saw the exhibition dedicated to Mayans and Aztecs. Then we looked at Texas animals and plants. Then was a kingdom of the ocean, also minerals, cosmos and chemistry...:) On chemist exhibition I really liked the Periodic Table with real examples of elements. Would be cool if schools can have something like this. We had so exciting day, which was ended with good dinner and then relaxation at the hotel pool:)
