Wczoraj w Stanach obchodzony byl Dzien Ojca. Swieto to przypada w Stanach na trzecia niedziele czerwca. W tym dniu celebrowany jest wklad ojcow w zycie ich dzieci. Tatusiowe w tym dniu obsypywani sa prezentami i kartkami z zyczeniami:) W Stanach popularne prezenty dla ojcow to rozne gadzety sportowe, elektroniczne, przyrzady do grillowania, ubrania i narzedzia. W sklepach powstaja oczywiscie specjalne stoiska, ktore poswiecone sa Dniu Ojca:) Dzien ten nalezy do ojcow, ojczymow, dziadkow, pradziadkow i innych meskich postaci niosacych wklad w zycie dzieci...:) Dzien Ojca to stosunkowo nowe swieto, ktore moze byc obchodzone za posrednictwem prostych gestow, takich jak zyczenia telefoniczne, kartka z zyczeniami, ale niektorzy organizuja rowniez wielka impreze rodzinna dla wszystkich pokolen ojcow w rodzinie...:) Jest to na pewno fantastyczny pomysl! W szkolach dzieci przygotowuja piekne laurki dla swoich tatusiow:) Dzien Ojca nie jest swietem panstwowym, w zwiazku z czym wszystko w tym dniu funkcjonuje normalnie, no moze z wyjatkiem restauracji, w ktorych moze byc wiekszy ruch niz w innych dniach ze wzgledu na to, ze dzieci zabieraja swoich tatusiow na swiateczny posilek:) Dzien Ojca inspirowany byl na pewno pojawieniem sie Dnia Matki, jak rowniez byl uhonorowaniem gornikow, w wiekszosci ojcow, ktorzy zgineli w wypadku w Monongah, w Zachodniej Wirginii, w grudniu 1907 roku. Sonora Smart Dodd to kobieta, ktora bardzo przyczynila sie do ustanowienia Dnia Ojca. Jej ojciec po smierci jej matki nie zawarl szybko nastepnego malzenstwa, ani nie oddal dzieci do domu dziecka, tylko zajmowal sie wychowywaniem calej szostki samodzielnie, dlatego Sonora walczyla o honory dla Ojcow, podazajac sladami Anny Jarvis, ktora przyczynila sie do ustanowienia Dnia Matki. Dzien Ojca zostal oficjalnie uznany jako swieto w 1972 roku przez prezydenta Nixona.
W maju zapomnialam napisac kilka slow o Dniu Mamy... Dlatego teraz postanowilam to nadrobic, lepiej pozno niz wcale...:)

Prekursorka Dnia Matki w Stanach byla Ann Jarvis, matka Anny Jarvis, ktora powolala specjalny komitet w celu ustanowienia Dnia Matki, ku czci wszystkich rodzin, ktore zostaly rozdzielone przez wojne secesyjna. Ann Jarvis zmarla zanim Dzien Matki stal sie oficjalnym swietem. Jej dzielo kontynuowala jej corka. Przed ustanowieniem Dnia Matki oficjalnym swietem, byl on swietowany na poziomie lokalnym. W 1910 roku stan Zachodnia Wirginia oglosil akceptacje Dnia Matki, szybko po tym kolejne stany zaczely uznawac swieto, czyniac tym sposobem Dzien Matki swietem narodowym:) Kwiatem symbolizujacym Dzien Matki w Stanach jest gozdzik, ktory byl ulubionym kwiatem matki Anny Jarvis. Dzien Matki w stanach to jedno z najbardziej komercyjnych swiat:) W sklepach panuje istne szalenstwo! Popularne prezenty dla mam to kwiaty, bizuteria, kartki:)
Dbajcie o swoich rodzicow i pamietajcie o nich nie tylko w dniu ich swieta... My dzieci jestesmy dla nich calym ich swiatem, kazdy mily i najdrobniejszy gest z naszej strony znaczy dla nich bardzo wiele...:)
Ja jestem bardzo daleko od mojej narawde wspanialej mamy, ale dzwonie do niej nawet po kilka razy dziennie! Taty nie mam juz od dwunastu lat... ale wierze, ze patrzy na mnie tam z gory i ma mnie w swojej opiece:)

Yesterday in the United States Father's Day was celebrated. Father's Day in the US is celebrated on the third Sunday of June. Father's Day is an occasion to mark and celebrate that fathers have made a difference in the lives of their children. On this day fathers get cards and gifts, in the US popular gifts for fathers are different sports and electronic items, outside appliances, clothes and tools. Father's Day items are prepared with special stands in stores across the nation. Celebrated on this special day are all male figures such as fathers, step-fathers, grandfathers, and grave-grandfathers... Every man who has made contribution in children's life. Father's Day is a modern holiday. This day can be celebrate through simple gesture like phone wishes or cards. Sometimes some people make a big party special for this occasion to celebrate all of the father's generations in family. This is a great idea! In schools children prepare cards for their daddies. Father's Day it is not a federal holiday so everything works pretty normal. Restaurants might be more crowded then usually because children take their daddies for holiday meal:) Father's Day was inspired of Mother's Day and also it honored miner's fathers who died in accident in Monongah, in West Virginia, in December 1907. Sonora Smart Dodd was an influential figure in establishment of Father's Day. When Sonora's mother died, her father did not get married again quickly, he did not send his children to orphanage. Sonora's father was raising six children by himself, that's why his daughter was trying very hard to establish Father's Day. Sonora Smart was following Anna Jarvis, who establish Mother's Day. Father's Day was officially declared in 1972 by president Nixon.

Mother's Day is celebrated in US on the second Sunday of May. Same like on Father's Day there is celebrate effort that mothers put into raising their children:) The original reason to celebrate Mother's Day was to honor mother's sons, who have fought or have died in civil war. The precursor of Mother's Day was Ann Jarvis, who was the mother of Anna Jarvis. Ann Jarvis made a special committee to establish Mother's Day and give honors to all families who were divided by civil war. Ann Jarvis died before Mother's Day was declared as a national holiday. Her work was continued by her daughter. Mother's Day was celebrated on local levels before it became a national holiday. The state of West Virginia declared Mother's Day as holiday in 1910, after this other states really quickly began to do the same. Since this time Mother's Day was a national holiday. The Carnation is a flower which represent Mother's Day. The Carnation was a favorite flower of Anna Jarvis mother. Mother's Day in US is the one of the most commercial holidays. Stores go crazy! Popular gifts for mothers are flowers, jeweler and cards:)

I am so far away from my mum, but I call her few times a day! I don't have a dad for twelve years... but I believe that he looks at me from the heaven and he takes care of me:)
