Jestem juz w USA i zabieram sie do sprzatania i meblowania nowego domu, bo za chwile mama i brat przylatuja do nas! Z pewnych wzgledow osobistych (zalatwianie waznych spraw) musialam zostac dluzej w Polsce, moj maz musial leciec juz po 10 dniach pobytu w Polsce do Stanow ze wzgledu na jego obowiazki zawodowe... Z bolem serca odlatywal, ale tak to czasem bywa...:) Ja mam wakacje wiec skorzystalam z tego i postanowilam zostac dluzej w Polsce, zeby pozalatwiac pewne wazne sprawy oraz nacieszyc sie rodzina:) W tygodniu rozne obowiazki, a w weekend relaks...:) Dzisiaj pokaze Wam zdjecia z weekendowej wycieczki do Sopotu, na ktora na poczatku czerwca wybralam sie z mama, bratem i babcia. Moja babcia jeszcze nigdy nie leciala samolotem... Strasznie namawiam ja, zeby odwiedzila nas w Stanach, a babcia ciagle szuka jakis wymowke, a to, ze juz za stara jest, a to, ze cisnienie ma itp., itd... a nam sie wydaje, ze babcia po prostu boi sie leciec w tak dluga podroz samolotem, poniewaz w ogole nie ma takiego doswiadczenia... Kiedys ludzie tak po prostu nie latali jak teraz:) Z moimi dziadkami to bylo zawsze tak, ze oni nic nie chcieli, nic im nie potrzeba, dlatego ja doszlam do wniosku, ze nie ma co ich nawet pytac, tylko trzeba stawiac ich przed faktem dokonanym i tyle, bo potem i tak zawsze sa zachwyceni:) Tak samo bylo w zeszlym roku kiedy z mama wyslalysmy dziadkow do SPA, na poczatku nie chcieli, a potem powiedzialam im, ze juz nie ma odwrotu, trzeba jechac wszystko wykupione, zaplacone i co? Pojechali i wrocili przeszczesliwi z bagazem nowych doswiadczen:) Tym razem z wycieczka do Sopotu zrobilam to samo... Doszlam do wniosku, ze trzeba zabrac babcie na krotki lot, zeby doswiadczyla lotu samolotem i moze troche sie przekonala, ze nie jest to takie straszne... Jak pomyslalam, tak zrobilam. Kupilam bilety dla calej naszej czworki (ja, babcia, mama i brat). Zadzwonilam do babci i powiedzialam, ze lecimy do Gdanska, bilety juz kupione. Szczerze mowiac babcia nawet az tak bardzo nie protestowala:) Wylot do Gdanska byl z lotniska Chopina w Warszawie o 8:10 rano... Na lotnisku z bagazami podrecznymi zjawilysmy sie oczywiscie wczesniej, a po wystartowaniu w zasadzie za chwile juz bylo ladowanie...:) Taki to krotki lot:) Babcia narzekala, ze zatkalo jej uszy i troche kolowalo jej sie w glowie, ale lot z Gdanska do Warszawy byl juz lepszy:) Po wyladowaniu w Gdansku, taksowka pojechalysmy do Sopotu, gdzie zakwaterowalysmy sie w wynajetym mieszkaniu, a potem udalysmy sie na pyszny obiad do restauracji z widokiem na morze, gdzie popijalysmy biale winko i wdychalysmy swieze morskie powietrze:) Po poludniu udalysmy sie do sopockiego parku wodnego, gdzie wszyscy naprawde fajnie sie bawilismy! Kolejnego dnia pobytu w Sopocie spacerowalismy po molo, kupowalismy pamiatki, opalalismy sie na plazy, zajadalismy sie goframi z bita smietana i pysznymi dodatkami, a wieczorem wybralismy sie na egzotyczna kolacje do restauracji indyjskiej:) Byl to krotki wypad, ale bardzo udany! Wszyscy zadowoleni!

Hello everyone!
I am already in the US and I am starting to clean and decorate our new house, because very soon mym mom and my brother will be here! I had to extent my trip to Poland because of some important matters that I had to take care of there. My husband had to come to the US 10 days after staying in Poland. He just had to come back to his work... He was heartbroken when he had to fly back, but it happens sometimes...:) I have vacation so I decided to stay in Poland and take care of some important issues and also enjoy time with my family:) We all had different responsibilities during the week, but on the weekend we had time to relax...:) Today I will show you pictures from weekend trip to Sopot at the beginning of June where I went with my mom, grandmom, and my brother. My grandmom has never been on the plane... We try all the time to convience grandmom to come and visit us in the US, but she is always lookinf for some excuses. She says that she is too old or that she had a blood pressure and other stories... We simply think that she is scared of flying, because she has never done this before... People years ago were not flying that often like people today:) My grandparents were alwways the way that they did not want anything. They were always saying that they do not need anything... so I thought that it does not even make sense to ask them if they want something. I decided to put them in front of accomplished fact because at the end they are going to be happy as always:) Last year my mom and I sent grandparents to SPA and at the beginning they did not want to go there, but I told them that there is no retreat, everything is paid and they have to go. Guess what? They went to SPA and they came back very happy with new fantastic experience:) This time with this trip to Sopot I did exactly the same thing... I thought that we need to take grandmom for a short flight so she can can experience flying on the plane and maybe she will see that it is not that bad... I thought and I did it. I bought tickets for four of us (mom, grandmom, brother and I). I called grandmom and I said that we are flying to Gdansk and I already bought tickets. This time grandmom was not even protesting so much:) Departure to Gdansk was from Chopin airport at 8:10 am... Of course we showed up at the airport earlier with our carry on luggages and it seemed like right after take off we were landing...:) It was a very short flight:) Grandmom was complaining that her ears got plugged and she had stars in her head, but the flight from Gdansk to Warsaw was better:) After landing in Gdansk we took taxi and we went to Sopot. We checked into our apartment and then we went for a delicious dinner with sea view where we were also drinking white wine and breathing fresh sea air:) We also went in the afternoon to Sopot water park where we all had so much fun! Next day in Sopot we were walking on the pier, buying souvenirs, sun bathing, eating delicious waffles with whipped cream and other stuff, and in the evening we went for exotic supper to Indian restaurant:) It was a short trip, but very successful! Everybody was happy!

Michal uwielbia latac samolotami, mowi, ze podczas lotu relaksuje sie w przeciwienstwie do naszej mamy:)
Michal loves to fly. He says that flying relaxes him, totally opposite to our mom:)
A tutaj w naszym mieszkaniu, ktore wynajelismy. "Apartament Pogodny" znajduje sie w Sopocie, okolo 300 metrow od plazy. Jak na weekend to swietne miejsce, w dobrej cenie, zeby sie zatrzymac.
Here is our apartment which we rented. "Sunny Apartment" is located in Sopot around 300 metres from the beach. It is a great place to stay for the weekend and the price is also good.
