Jak sie macie przy weekendzie?
Ja jak zwykle nie narzekam! Nawet jak sa slabsze dni to staram sie wyszukiwac pozytywow, madrych rozwiazan i isc jak ta strzala do przodu!
Dzisiaj w ten ostatni wrzesniowy dzien udalismy sie wraz z moim mezem do St. Paul, czyli stolicy stanu Minnesota, ktorego jestesmy obecnie rezydentami. Pojechalismy tam do biura Sekretarza Stanu Minnesota, aby uzyskac klauzule APOSTILLE. Co to jest APOSTILLE? Jest to "poswiadczenie dokumentu sporzadzonego w jednym panstwie (np. aktu notarialnego, tlumaczenia przysieglego, aktu stanu cywilnego) umozliwiajace legalne uzycie go w innym panstwie". Konwencja haska z 5 pazdziernika 1961 roku reguluje zasady uzywania apostilli. Przedstawiajac jak praktycznie wyglada dzialanie apostilli opisze Wam moj przyklad. Tak sie sklada, ze mam te mozliwosc, czy tez komfort, ze legalnie moge mieszkac i funkcjonowac w Polsce, albo w USA. Zarowno w jednym jak i w drugim kraju mam dosc i juz dosc mocno uksztaltowane zycie w wielu dziedzinach. Zrodzila sie potrzeba zalatwienia pewnej sprawy przed polskimi urzedami, ale mi do Polski sie nie spieszy, wiec postanowilam poszukac informacji co zrobic zeby sprawe zalatwic i jednoczesnie nie pojawiac sie tam osobiscie tylko na chwile... Okazuje sie, ze jest to jak najbardziej mozliwe. W Polsce wystarczy poprosic notariusza o sporzadzenie pelnomocnictwa upowazniajacego zaufana nam osobe (w moim przypadku mama) do reprezentowania nas przed konkretnym urzedem, w danej sprawie. Ja taki projekt pelnomocnictwa, dostalam od notariusza droga mailowa. Moja mama wczesniej dowiozla notariuszowi wszelkie potrzebne dokumenty do poprawnego napisania go. Po otrzymaniu projektu pelnomocnictwa z Polski udalam sie do publicznego notariusza tutaj w Stanach, ktory potwierdzil moja tozsamosc i podbil mi polskie pelnomocnictwo. UWAGA! Pelnomocnictwo w jezyku polskim nie musi byc tlumaczone na jezyk angielski, poniewaz notariusz sprawdza tylko nasza tozsamosc,a to co jest na papierze to go nie interesuje. Po wykonaniu czynnosci notarialnym nalezy znalezc instytucje (najczesciej sa to Biura Sekretarzy Stanow) w ktorej zdobedziemy pieczec APOSTILLE nadajaca dokumentowi moc prawna do uzycia go za granica. Po podpisaniu pelnomocnictwa u amerykanskiego notariusza, a nastepnie uzyskaniu klauzuli APOSTILLE moja mama w pelni moze mnie reprezentowac przed urzedami, czy tez w poszczegolnych czynnosciach cywilno- prawnych w Polsce. Koszt uzyskania klauzuli APOSTILLE w Biurze Sekretarza Stanu Minnesota to $5 od jednego dokumentu. Zalatwienie tej sprawy trwa 10 minut. Wypelnia sie krotki wniosek z informacja w jakim panstwie dokument bedzie wykorzystywany, a po kilku minutach dostaje sie juz bardzo ladny certyfikat z pieczatka:)

I am good as always! Even if there is a worse day I try to focus on positive stuff, look for wise solutions and go forward like an arrow!
Today on the last day of September my husband and I went to St. Paul which is a capital of the state of Minnesota where we currently are residents. We went to the office of Secretary of Minnesota State to get there an Apostille. What APOSTILLE is? It is a certification of a document drawn up in one country (eg. Notarial act, translation, act of civil status) allowing legitimate use of it in another country. The Hague Convention of 5 October 1961 regulates the use Apostille conditions. I will describe it on my example to picture you how Apostille does work in practice. As it turned I have opportunity or comfort to live and exist in the US and Poland. I have pretty good shaped life in different fields in both countries. There did arise an issue that had to be done at Polish office, but I am not in rush of going to Poland so I decided to look for some information how to get this issue done and same time not going to Poland just for a moment... As it turned it is very possible. You just need to ask a notary in Poland to prepare a project of 'Power of Attorney' for your trusted person (in my case it was my Mom) to represent us in front of the office, in certain issue. I received a project of 'Power of Attorney' from notary via e-mail. My Mom delivered all needed document to notary so he can write a document properly. I went to public notary here in the US after receiving a project of 'Power of Attorney' from Poland so he can identify me, stamp and sign my document. WARNNING! A 'Power of Attorney' does not have to be translated for English, because a notary checks only our identity, he/she does not care what is on paper. You need to find an office which will stamp your document with APOSTILLE, which will give the document a power to be used abroad after doing all of notary actions. Most of the time you can easily do APOSTILLE in Secretary of State offices. My Mom can fully represents me in all legal actions in front of Polish offices after notarizing a document in the US and getting an Apostille. A cost of Apostille is $5 per one document at Secretary of Minnesota State. It takes 10 minutes to have this issue done. You just need to fill out a short form where you need to put information in which country document will be used and after a few minutes you are getting a nice certificate with a seal:)

Po wizycie u Sekretarza Stanu udalismy sie odwiedzic domy "Dwoch zgryzliwych tetrykow" o ktorych wspominalam juz tutaj. Zarzekalam sie wtedy, ze jak tylko bedziemy w St. Paul to na pewno zrobimy sobie zdjecia przy domach Maxa, Johna i Ariel, i tak jak powiedzialam, tak tez uczynilam:)
We went to visit houses of "Grumpy Old Men", who I mentioned about already in here after we left a Secretary of State office. I was swearing that as soon as we will be in St. Paul we will for sure take pictures at Max, John, and Ariel's houses, and as I said I did exactly the same:)
