31 pazdziernika w USA to oczywiscie szal HALLOWEEN! W Polsce Wszystkich Swietych, chociaz imprezy halloweenowe tez sa, ale to jednak nie to samo co tutaj...:P To w USA jest ten prawdziwy klimat dyn, udekorowanych domow, gadzetow, przebranych dzieci, odwiedzajacyh z koszyczkami domy, zeby dostac cukierki, imprezy halloweenowe, na ktorych kroluja przerozne stroje...:) Trzeba tu byc, przezyc i poczuc te prawdziwa atmosfere Halloween! :)

 

Czytalam, ze historia Halloween nie jest do konca znana... Podobno historia tego swieta moze byc zwiazana z roznymi poganskimi wierzeniami, miedzy innymi Celtyccy kaplani, Druidzi wierzyli, ze w dzien Samhain (obrzadek celtycki) zacierala sie granica miedzy zaswiatami, a swiatem ludzi zyjacych, zas duchom zarowno zlym jak i dobrym latwiej bylo sie przedostac do swiata zywych. Duchy przodkow czczono i zapraszano do domow, zle duchy zas odstraszano. Jednym z elementow obchodow Samhain bylo rowniez palenie ognisk. Bogom poswiecano na oltarzach resztki plonow, zwierzeta i ludzi. Wokol ognisk odbywaly sie tance smierci. Druidzi nosili czarne stroje oraz duze rzepy, ponacinane na podobienstwo demonow. Uwaza sie, ze wlasnie z potrzeby odstraszania zlych duchow wywodzi sie zwyczaj przebierania w Halloween w dziwaczne stroje i zakladania masek. Czarownice w towarzystwie czarnych kotow przepowiadaly przyszlosc. Koscioly chrzescijanskie przeciwstawily sie obchodzeniu Halloween wprowadzajac Dzien Zaduszny. Halloween jest hucznie obchodzone przede wszystkim w Stanach Zjednoczonych, Kanadzie, Irlandii i Wielkiej Brytanii. Irlandcy imigranci sprowadzili tradycje Halloween do Stanow Zjednoczonych w latach 40 XIX wieku. Pierwsza parada z okazji Halloween odbyla sie 31 pazdziernika 1920 roku w miescie Anoka w stanie Minnesota. W paradzie udzial wzieli mieszkancy miasta, przebrani w kolorowe stroje znanych postaci. W 1937 roku Anoke ogloszono swiatowa stolica Halloween. Symbolem Halloween jest wydrazona dynia. Kolory Halloween to czarny i pomaranczowy. Nazwa Halloween jest najprawdopodobniej skróconym All Hallows' E’en, czyli wcześniejszym „All Hallows' Eve”, czyli wigilia Wszystkich Swietych. Kosciol katolicki potepia Halloween i utozsamia je z kultem Szatana, poniewaz noc 31 pazdziernika na 1 listopada jest takze waznym swietem w Kosciele Szatana. Ja mysle, ze Halloween dzis jest przede wszystkim okazja do dobrej zabawy i prawdopodobnie wiekszosc ludzi bawiacych sie w tym dniu nawet nie mysli o wywolywaniu duchow albo oddawaniu holdu Szatanowi. Liczy sie dobra zabawa!

 

W tym roku Halloween przypadlo w sobote, czyli perfekcyjnie dla wszystkich imprezowiczow. My tegoroczne Halloween spedzilismy w klubie Koloseum w Tallahassee na Florydzie. Majk przebral sie za Supermana, natomiast ja bylam Minni Mouse. Moj maz wyrazil chec zamowienia dla nas strojow przez internet  w tym roku. Ja akurat bylam czyms zajeta, wiec stwierdzilam swietnie, zamawiaj! Kostiumy doszly do nas z New Jersey w czwartek przed Halloween... Superman pasowal perfekcyjnie, natomaist moj stroj byl dwa numery za duzy...:D Nie wiem jak Majk to zrobil, w kazdym razie wczesniej poinformowal mnie, ze zamowil maly rozmiar dla mnie...:D Potem kiedy zobaczylam ten dwa rozmiary za duzy stroj, Majk stwierdzil, ze byl to najmniejszy rozmiar w tej firmie :D Ehh Ci mezczyzni...:D Na szczescie w piatek w Tallahassee udalo nam sie kupic Minni Mouse w moim rozmiarze...:)

October 31st in the US it is of course crazy HALLOWEEN! Poland has an All Saints Day. There are also Halloween parties, but I think it is not the same as in the US...:P US has a real atmosphere of Halloween which are pumpkins, decorated houses, Halloween stuff, costumed children with buckets who knock the door to get some candy, different Halloween parties, where you can see many different, fantastic costumes...:) You have to be here to feel a real atmosphere of Halloween! :)

I was reading that a history of Halloween is not completely known... Probably the history of this holiday is related with different pagan beliefs. Celtic priests (Druids) believed that on Samhain day (Celtic ritual) the boundaries between underworld and living world were blurring, and both bad and good ghosts had an easier way to get into a living world. The spirit of ancestry was revered, but bad ghosts were discouraged. Bonfires were also rituals of  Samhain. They sacrificed to the Gods on the alerts leftover yields, animals and people. Druids wore black outfits and big burs similar to demons. It is believed that  exactly to discourage bad ghosts there is a tradition of weird costumes and masks on Halloween. Witches with cats companion were predicting a future. Christian churches opposed the Halloween and they entered an All Soul's Day. Halloween is celebrated mostly in the US, Canada, Ireland and United Kingdom. An Irish immigrants brought a Halloween tradition in to the US in 40s of XIX century. The first Halloween parade was on October 31st 1920 in Anoka, Minnesota. City residents dressed in colorful outfits took part in this parade. Anoka was proclaimed as a world capital of Halloween in 1937. The symbol of Halloween is a hollowed out pumpkin. Black and orange are the colors of Halloween. The Halloween name is probably a shortened All Hallows' E’en, which is earlier All Hallows' Eve”, which is an All Saints Eve. The Catholic church condemns Halloween and identifies it with the Devil cult. The night October 31st to November 1st is also an important holiday in the Devil's church. I think that Halloween today is mostly just a good occasion to have fun. Probably most of the people who celebrate on this day don't even think about inducing spirits or cult of the Devil. Importance is fun!

Halloween this year was on Saturday so it was perfect for all party people. We spent this year Halloween in Club Coliseum in Tallahassee, FL. Mike dressed as a Superman, but I was a Minnie Mouse. My husband expressed his desire to order costumes online, but I was busy with something this moment so I said great, please order them! We received costumes from New Jersey on Thursday right before Halloween... The Superman outfit did fit perfectly, but my outfit was bigger two sizes...:D I do not know how Mike did it, but he told me before that he ordered for me a small size...:D Later when I noticed that my costume is bigger two sizes Mike told me that it was the smallest size in this company :D There is always something with those men! Fortunately the next day we bought a Minnie Mouse outfit in my size...:)

GOLF!

Mam nadzieje, ze wszyscy moi wierni Czytelnicy maja sie dobrze! :)

U mnie tez wszystko dobrze, jak zwykle duzo sie dzieje, czas ucieka po prostu przez palce w tym naszym zyciu!

 

Mimo przeroznych codziennych obowiazkow i trosk staramy sie z Majkiem zawsze zadbac o czas tylko dla siebie...:)

 

Juz dawno planowalismy zaczac grac w golfa, ale zawsze cos nam staje na przeszkodzie, zeby w koncu wybrac sie na pole golfowe...:) W srode wracajac do domu z Tallahassee na Florydzie, gdzie toczy sie wiekszosc biznesowego zycia mojego meza wstapilismy  tam zupelnie przypadkowo do jednego z miejsc rekreacyjnych  o nazwie Fun Station, w ktorym znajduja sie tory do mini golfa. Stwierdzilismy, ze to bedzie dobry poczatek! Poczatek przede wszystkim dla mnie, poniewaz ja nie mialam wczesniej w ogole stycznosci  z golfem... Moj maz gral w golfa bardzo intensywnie jeszcze zanim mnie poznal i bardzo lubi ten sport... Objasnil mi wczoraj zasady tego sportu, pokazal wszystko od A do Z, po czym zaczelismy grac... Jak na pierwszy raz szlo mi bardzo dobrze i naprawde mialam ogromna satysfakcje z tej zabawy! Po powrocie do domu Majkus zapoznal mnie na kartce papieru z zasadami gry na prawdziwym polu golfowym, opowiedzial mi o rodzajach wszystkich mozliwych kijkow i krotko mowiac szykujemy sie na pole golfowe niebawem! Tak mi sie to spodobalo, ze nastepnego po poludniu znowu wyciagnelam mojego meza na mini golfa! Przed gra, ktora jednoczesnie jest swietna zabawa wybralismy sie na obiad do japonskiej restauracji. Ja oczywiscie zamowilam sushi, ktorego juz dlugo nie jadlam, a Majk jak zwykle wybral cos miesnego, czyli steak... Tym razem wybralismy sobie miejsca przy stole, gdzie mozna ogladac jak przyrzadzane jest jedzenie dla gosci...:) Takze mielismy prawdziwe show z fajerwerkami! :) To bylo bardzo dobry czas razem! :)

 

Jest koniec pazdziernika, jutro Halloween, a pojutrze w Polsce Wszystkich Swietych. Tymczasem w Georgii i na Florydzie temperatura osiaga do 30 stopni Celsjusza! Swieci piekne slonce, obowiazuje oczywiscie ubior letni...:) Nie wiem jak ja bym sie teraz odnalazla w tym polskim zimnie... Uwielbiam cieplo, palmy, ale troche teskni mi sie tez za kolorami prawdziwej jesieni, takiej zlotej, cieplej jesieni, ktora obecnie trwa na polnocy Stanow... Nasi znajomi i rodzina z polnocy wrzucaja czasami na facebook'a po prostu cudne zdjecia rozno kolorowych drzew...:) To jest to, co wspominalam juz wczesniej... Kocham Stany za to, ze w jednym kraju moge znalezc tyle roznorodnych i wspanialych zjawisk! :)

I hope that all my faithful readers are fine! :)

I am fine. As always lot of things is going on... Time flies in our life!

No matter how busy we are, Mike and I always try to find a time just for us...:)

A long time ago we planned to play a golf, but there was always something that was keeping us from going to the golf field...:) Yesterday on way back from Tallahassee, FL, where mostly my husband business life exists, we stopped at entertainment center called Fun Station. A Fun Station has a mini golf courses. We thought it will be a good start! Especially a good start for me, because I have never played golf before... My husband used to intensively play a golf even before he met me and he really likes this sport... He explained me golf rules, showed me everything and then we started to play... I as doing really good for the first time! I had lot of fun of this game! We came back home and Mike did drawn me on a piece of paper all of the rules and different kinds of sticks in real golf. We are getting ready for a real golf field! I liked my new experience very much that the next day afternoon I convinced my husband to go and do it again! We went to Japanese restaurant before we played golf. I obviously ordered a sushi, which I did not eat for a long time, but Mike as always ordered a steak... This time we picked a place where we were able to see how guests food is cooked...:) We had a great show in there! :) It was a very good time together! :)

It is the end of October, tomorrow is Halloween, and the day after tomorrow in Poland is an All Saints Day. During that time in Georgia and Florida temperature reaches even 30 Celsjus degrees! The weather is very sunny and there is a summer dress code...:) I am not sure how would I exist in Polish cold reality... I love a hot weather and palm, but I also miss colors of real fall... I mean a gold, warm fall, which is now in North of the United States... Our family and friends from the North post sometimes pictures of marvelous, colorful trees...:) This is what I said before... I love United States because in just one country I can find different and beautiful occurrences!

Pierwsze zmagania z golfem!/First steps with golf!

 

 Zycze sobie bardzo dlugiego i dobrego stazu malzenskiego... Chcialabym za conajmniej 20 lat powiedziec, ze to wspaniale miec meza, ktory jest moim z calego serca najlepszym przyjacielem, tak samo jak mysle dzis...:) Jestem osoba bardzo pokorna i wiem, ze zycie przynosi rozne niespodzianki, ale jestem dzis bardzo szczesliwa i takiego szczescia z dobra osoba u boku zycze kazdemu! :) Dobrze, ze prowadze tego bloga... Moze okazac sie dobrym przypominaczem na przyszlosc...:)

I wish myself a very long and good marriage... I would like to say at least 20 years from now that it is wonderful to have a husband who is also my best friend same as I think now...:) I am a very humble person and I know that life brings different surprises, but today I am a very happy person and I wish every person to be that happy with a good person next to! :) I am glad I run this blog... It might be a good reminder for the future...:)

Po grze w golfa, skorzystalismy z ponizszych atrakcji:) Bawilismy sie tam niczym dzieci! Wygralismy nawet 1000 biletow, ktore wymienilismy na dwie rundy golfa w przyszlosci:)/We also used different attractions here after playing a golf:) We were having fun as children! We also won 1000 tickets which we changed for two rounds of golf in the future:)
