U nas jak zwykle wesolo i cos sie dzieje...:)
Wczoraj ja, moj maz, nasz sasiad John i jego kolega Gil doslownie w ostatniej chwili udalismy sie na Uniwersytet Poludniowo Zachodniej Minnesoty na Dzien Miedzynarodowego Jedzenia. Na uniwersytecie tym studiuja ludzie z 23 roznych krajow swiata. Kazdy kraj mial za zadanie przygotowac lokalne potrawy. Studenci przebrani byli w swoje ludowe stroje. Ja mialam wziac udzial w tej imprezie i myslalam nad przygototwaniem pierogow, ale za duzo sie ostatnio u mnie dzieje i nie znalazlam na to czasu, moze w nastepnym roku:) Nie wiedzielismy, ze powinnismy nabyc bilety wejsciowe przed calym eventem, a nie w dniu imprezy. Pojechalismy tam i okazalo sie, ze wszystkie bilety wyprzedane, ale naszym znajomym z Nepalu udalo sie cos wykombinowac i moglismy w koncu sprobowac smakow przeroznych zakatkow swiata. Po imprezie na uniwersytecie moi znajomi z Nepalu przyjechali do nas do domu w swoich hinduskich i buddyjskich strojach. Wczoraj byla taka piekna pogoda, ze siedzielismy przy winie na dworzu i fotografowalismy sie na przemian! Pema przywiozla mi do przymierzenia tradycyjna buddyjska suknie, takze mozecie zobaczyc nizej jak w niej wygladalam:)

Here is fun as always...:)
My husband, our neighbor John, his friend Gil, and I went yesterday in last moment to Southwest Minnesota State University for International Food Day. People from 23 different countries in the world study at this university. Every country was suppose to prepare local dishes. Students were dressed up in there traditional outfits. I was going to take part in this event and make some Polish pierogis, but lot of things going on recently and I just did not find time to make, maybe next year:) We did not know that we should buy tickets before event, not on day of the event. We went there and it turned out that all tickets got sold out, but our friend from Nepal took care of that and we were able to try different flavors of the world. My friends from Nepal after the event came to our house in there Hindu and Buddhist outfits. Yesterday we had a beautiful weather that we were sitting outside, drinking wine, and take bunch of pictures! Pema brought me to try on a traditional Buddhist dress so you can see how I looked below:)
