Witajcie!
Ostatnio mialam mala przerwe w aktualizacji mojego bloga, za sprawa nawalu roznych spraw, zwiazanych z zyciem codziennym... Jestem ponownie i mam sie dobrze:)
W nagrode dostala upragnionego McDonald'a. Lekarz powiedzial nam, ze szczeniaki prawdopodobnie umarly jakies cztery dni od momentu kiedy pierwszy raz zobaczylismy czarna wydzieline. Wydzielina byla oczywiscie sygnalem, spowodowanym smiercia szczeniat. Powodem smierci szczeniaczkow byl pierwszy z nich, ktory mial wyjsc.
Nastepna rzecz, ktora sie wydarzyla podczas przerwy w aktualizacji przeze mnie bloga to sluzbowa podroz mojego meza do Kanady. We wtorek i czwartek uprawialm fantastyczna joge, z fantastyczna intruktorka Paula. Paula prowadzi joge, ktora laczy w sobie rozne elementy roznych rodzajow jogi i czasem moze porzadnie zmeczyc... Jednak ostatnie 15 minut poswieca cudownemu relaksowi! Zazwyczaj lezymy z rozloznymi nogami i rekoma na naszych matach, Paula podchodzi do kazdego, polewa nasze czola niezywkle aromatyczna lawenda, nastepnie kazdy otrzymuje niezywkle relaksacyjny masaz karku. W koncu sport to zdrowie! Nigdy tego za duzo...:)
Szkolenie mojego meza odbywalo sie w hotelu tuz kolo jednego z lotnisk w Toronto.
Milego dnia Wszystkim!
A tu mala fotorelacja z minionych wydarzen:)
Hello everyone!
Last time I had a break in updating my blog, because of lot of different every day life issues. I am back and I am good:)
I mentioned before that our dog is pregnant... Everything looked very good, we were getting ready for puppies... We were expecting between 6 and 10 puppies... Delivery should happen at the beginning of the August. Sirena started to give a clear symptoms that its time. One of the symptom was that she was hiding herself in the closet, another was that she was messing with her bed, and she also was going out just to do her physiological needs and then coming back home right away. We bought for her a little kid pool, where we put lot of sheets and blankets so she can feel comfortable giving there a birth. The other day my husband noticed that from area of Sirena intimate place there is coming out a strange green-black membrane. Right after he saw this he went online to check out what can mean this green-black discharge. Google said that it is not a good sign. The green-black liquid has a right to appear, but after delivery. If a green-black discharge appears before delivery it means that there is something wrong. After we read all of those information we went to the vet in Tallahassee, Florida, immediately. Sirena received an immediate and professional help. A vet doctor confirmed that a green-black discharge is a worrying symptom. A vet clinic staff did an X-ray and ultrasonography. Exams showed that Sirena is carrying six already dead puppies. A doctor said that Sirena has to go trough the surgery, the latest time, next day. Other way she might pass away... Sirena stayed in hospital for the night. She was observed and getting ready for a surgery. We were told that surgery should go without any complications. However because of Sirena age (7) she is in the group of higher risk. My husband, who is an incredibly positive person and who is never moody, was distraught... It was a first time when I saw him in such a poor condition... Sirena is for him as a baby, He can not imagine to lose her to soon... I was not exactly sure what will be the result of this surgery. However I was trying to make my husband better...I told him that his monster will be fine... She loves food too much. When we will pick her up, she will get her favorite food McDonalds...:) After return to home, my husband who does not drink alcohol almost at all, he drank a glass of tequila... The next day we got a phone call from vet facility. They said that Sirena was barking whole night, but she is fine. Surgery will start at 10:30am and right after that they will call us and tell us how things going on. A surgery lasted almost three hours. During this time my husband was calling there a few times. After surgery a surgeon, who was the operater on Sirena called us that he successfully completed surgery. Sirena is waking up and she need to stay in hospital for observation for the rest of the day... We picked her up about 6pm and she was rewarded with McDonalds. A doctor told us that puppies probably died about four days before we first saw a black discharge. A green-black liquid was a signal, caused of the puppies death. The cause of the puppies death was the first puppy. The first puppy moved wrong way with his bottom instead of the head which should be first, same as a human. A puppy could not go out and the other puppies were blocked so they started to die... They were not able to move and send any signal that there is a time for delivery. Puppies started to decompose. Sirena was fixed at the same time as her surgery and she will not be able to get pregnant never again. It is sad, because we were planning to keep one of her puppy as her successor. However we are so happy to have a healthy and happy Sirena at home:) The doctor told us that one of the cause of this what happened could be Sirena's age, she was two years old when she had ten healthy puppies. This time everything was just fine. It is possible that because she is not that young, another pregnancy was having those complications.
A next thing which happened, during time when I was not updating my blog, was my husband business trip to Canada. In connection to my husband work he had to go for ten days training in Toronto, Canada. I stayed in the States to take care of the house, animals, and current issues. It was not an easy experience for us... My husband and I usually go together everywhere. We spend lot of time together and we have never been apart for a very long time since we have been together. We were missing each other like crazy! Fortunately he is already home. During time when my husband was gone for Canada, I was staying in home with our friend Marselle. Marselle is an American, born and raised in deep South of the United States. Marselle carries a blood of seven Indian tribes. She associates herself with REDNECK. REDNECKS is a historical term for white farmers from the South of the United States. Marselle is a very specific person, a typical Southern person. She loves to shoot, drive trucks in the mud, listen to the country, and walk barefoot through the world... She speaks Southern English with words typical just for the South of the United States. She is a very nice and helpful person:) We have a good time together! Another thing that I used to do during time when my husband was gone was intensive swimming, yoga and meditation. During one week I visited YMCA six times, on Tuesday and Thursday I was doing a fantastic yoga with a fantastic instructor. Her name is Paula. Paula does a yoga which connect different elements of different kinds of yoga. This yoga sometimes can really tire... However the last 15 minutes Paula dedicates for a marvelous relax! We usually lay on the floor, on our mats with our legs and hands spread out. Paula comes to everyone and put some very good smelled lavender on our forehead. Then everybody gets from Paula an amazing neck massage. Some of the people from our yoga class, makes fun that during doing yoga they can not wait for the last moment of relax...:) I have been swimming every day, 30 minutes, for six days. I usually spend on swimming pool 90 (3 times per 30 minutes). This sport is healthy! It is never to much!
My husband work training was at the hotel next to one of the airport in Toronto. Mike did not have a lot of time for visiting Toronto, because he was very busy with his duties. He took some pictures from the airport area, specially for me so I can put them on my blog. Apparently Toronto is a very expensive city. The difference in houses, gas and food prices is very big, comparing to the United States. In this regard, my husband did not like Toronto. He was also very upset of the temperature in Toronto. It is obvious that Toronto is located in completely different climate then the place where we live, however Mike did not think that the summer would be that much bad there. He did not take any warm clothes so he had to put on three t-shirts to not get frozen. From the pictures that he took for me I don't see any big difference between US and Canada. Everything looks same. Mike also says that he did not see a diametrical difference, in addition to the fact the some people around speak two languages, English and French, and also signs in public places are in two languages. He also noticed that Canadian people, similar to Polish people in that they drink a lot. Sitting in the pubs it is very normal for them. A Toronto area is called GTA- Greater Toronto Area, similar to famous video game, GTA- Grand Theft Auto.
It would be enough for now! I hope that soon I will share you some more news from life in the US...:)
Have a nice day everyone!

Here is a photo-report from past events:)
Moj maz i Sirena w klinice weterynaryjnej./My husband and Sirena at the vet clinic.
In the United States usually there is no fences around the properties. If there is any, its usually in the back yard. It reasonable because of privacy issue and also when people have animals, especially threatening race of the dog. Our property was not fenced until we found out that Sirena expects puppies. We decided that we need to built a fence for animals and people safety. My husband built this fence in our back yard on his own.

Oto Marselle!/This is Marselle!
Polecam!
In Poland a tomato soup is usually homemade, and served with rice or pasta. In the US soups are not that much popular. If people eat soups, they are usually from the can. I cook a lot of soups. All of them are homemade, healthy, and natural. Here is my natural, homemade tomato soup, but without rice or pasta. Marselle told me that she has never heard before about eating tomato soup with rice or pasta. In the south of the US people eat tomato soup with cheese toasts. It was my first time, eating tomato soup with cheese toasts. It was very good. I recommend!
Marselle namowila mnie do zakupu takich oto szklanek/sloikow. Zawartosc sloiczka z prawej trony to oczywiscie slodka herbata:)
Marselle convinced me to buy those glasses/jars. She told me that those glasses are very common for the South of the US. Every REDNECK has them. In the jar on the left side there is of course a sweet tea:)
A to ja przed wyjsciem na joge:)/Its me before yoga class.
Tutaj juz Toronto, Kanada i widoki z okolic lotniska Pearson.
Here is already Toronto, Canada. The views from Pearson airport area. Some of the pictures, taken from my husband phone are not that clear. Anyways I thought its good that we have some of them. They might be interesting for somebody.
My husband was shocked when he saw a golf field under high voltage lines. He said that probably only Canadian could do something like this.

Dolary kanadyjskie/Canadian dollars.
A tu juz po powrocie do domu! Moj kochany maz!/ Here is th picture after Mike return! My lovely husband!
