Przyczyna naszej wizyty tam, byly jednodniowe warsztaty mojego meza w Hapeville, polozonym naprzeciwko miedzynarodowego lotniska Hartsfield-Jackson w Atlancie. Ja spedzilam praktycznie caly dzien nad hotelowym basenem, aktualizujac swojego bloga. Odleglosc miedzy miejscem naszego zamieszkania, a Atlanta to jakies 5 godzin jazdy samochodem. Zatrzymalismy sie w apartamentach Marriot Residence Inn, ktore rozmieszczone sa w calych Stanach. Celowo wspominam te nazwe, gdyz zazwyczaj, kiedy wyjezdzam z mezem sluzbowo na dluzszy czas, tam wlasnie sie zatrzymujemy. Apartamenty Marriot Residence Inn to swietne rozwiazanie dla rodziny, w naszym przypadku z psem i lubiacej zdrowe, domowe gotowanie. W przykladowym apartamencie znajduje sie aneks kuchenny z mini salonem. Jest tam sypialnia, z duzym lozkiem, lazienka oraz mini biuro. Jednym slowem podczas dlugich wyjzadow sluzbowych mozna poczuc sie komfortowo, niemalze jak w domu. W apartamentach, w ktorych my sie do tej pory zatrzymywalismy zawsze zwierzeta byly mile widziane. Po warsztatach nie mieliesmy duzo czasu na zwiedzanie Atlanty, poniewaz musielismy wracac do domu. Przejechalismy przez centralna czesc miasta, robiac kilka zdjec. Na pewno jeszcze tam wrocimy, biorac pod uwage, ze Atlanta lezy stosunkowo blisko nas, aby zatrzymac sie chociaz na weekend i pozwiedzac miasto, ktore wydalo nam sie przyjemne. Piszac w telegraficznym skrocie, Atlanta to stolica i jednoczesnie najludniejsze miasto stanu Georgia. Historia miasta zaczyna sie wraz zalozeniem niewielkiej osady, zlokalizowanej niedaleko linii kolejowej, ktora w 1845roku, uzyskala nazwe Atlanta. Dzis Atlanta jest jednym z najwazniejszych centrow amerykanskiego biznesu. Atlanta to rowniez wiodacy wezel transportowy poludniowo-wschodnich Stanow, na czele z lotniskiem Hartsfield-Jackson, ktore od 1998 roku jest najbardziej ruchliwym lotniskiem na swiecie. W Atlancie znajduje sie miedzy innymi glowna siedziba Coca-coli. Przez wiele lat Atlanta byla znana jako centrum afroamerykanskiej kultury, biznesu, polityki oraz dzialan na rzecz praw czlowieka. W Atlancie urodzil sie Martin Luther King, ktoremu poswiecilam wpis w styczniu . Obecnie obserwuje sie wzrost bialej populacji w Atlancie.
On Wednesday my husband and I visited an Atlanta. The reason why we went there was my husband workshop in Hapeville. Hapeville is located north of the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. I spent most of the day at the hotel swimming pool, where I was updating my blog. A distance between the place where we live and an Atlanta is about 5 hours of driving. We stayed at Marriot Residence Inn apartments, which are located everywhere in the whole States. I intentionally mentioned the apartment's name because usually when I travel with my husband for business we stay there. Marriot Residence Inn apartments are a very good solution for a family, in our case scenario, a family with a dog, which is like a healthy homemade cooking. In an example apartment, there is a small kitchen with a mini living room. There is also a bedroom with a big bed, bathroom and mini office. During long business trips you can feel there comfortable and almost like at home. In the apartments where we usually have stayed, pets were always allowed. When my husband was done with his workshop, we did not have a lot of time for visiting an Atlanta, because we had to drive back home. We just drove through the middle of downtown and took some pictures. We will for sure come back to Atlanta, to stay there at least for the weekend to look around, especially that Atlanta is not that far from us. In brief: an Atlanta is a capital and same time the most populous city in the state of Georgia. The history of the city starts with an assumption settlement next to the railway station. In 1845 settlement was called Atlanta. Today, Atlanta is one of the most important American business centers. Atlanta is a leading transport hub for south eastern States with headed Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. A Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport since 1998 is the most busy airport in the world. The main Coca-Cola headquarters is located in Atlanta. For many years an Atlanta was known of Afro-American culture, business, politics and action in favor of human rights. In Atlanta, Martin Luther King Jr. was born. In January I made a post about him. Takie oto cudo z samego rana zaserwowal mi moj kochany maz. Ja zawsze na niego krzycze, kiedy kupuje mi slodkosci... bo potem musze to szybko spalac:) W kazdym razie gofr byl przepyszny:)/This miracle, my lovely husband served me in the morning. I always yell at him when he buys for me sweets... because later I have to burn it fast:) Anyway a waffle was delicious:)
